You gotta a point there. The people does not respect the government nor the laws because the government does not respect'm in first place. In our beloved Mexico the good citizens are ignored and the bad citizens are rewarded. A clear example was when the city officials in Mexico city pardoned all the traffic tickets/violations(about 100,000 infractions) just before the elections. With this type of actions who believes or respects a government.
